July Newsletter

I hope you are all remaining safe and well!

Didn’t realize it’s been so long since I’ve posted a blog… I’ve been sending out regular newsletters to my email list, so if you’d like to be included on that just let me know by using the contact form!

Camp and school are officially opening! Camp enrollment has closed due to reaching my maximum number of students.

I do have space available for the 2020 - 2021 school year! I'm really excited that it looks like schools are strongly considering blending time at school and away from school. In England this is known as flexischooling and I'm thrilled at the prospect of having students in this situation at Outside School! It's truly an ideal situation for learning.

More information and a link to the application is available at:

Black lives matter!!!

No child should have to wonder whether they will grow up. I'm sad to learn about children in our community asking this very question.

I've been doing a lot more reflection lately on my role in misunderstanding the Black experience in the US. I posted some of my thoughts and resources on my facebook page. It's clear there's a lot of work to do, and we all play a part. Here are a few resources that came through my inbox that I think you may be interested in:

Public Health

My friend works for the California Department of Public Health, and needs some help from parents of infants and toddlers (age 0 up until recently turned 2) to complete a survey regarding vaccinations. Would you mind taking it if it's appropriate to your family, or passing it along to others?

We're all in this together. As always, feel free to reach out!

Well wishes,
